Secure Transmission for Hierarchical Information Accessibility in Downlink MU-MIMO

Physical layer security is a useful tool to prevent illegal wiretapping confidential information. In this paper, we consider generalized model of conventional physical security, referred as hierarchical information accessibility (HIA). A main feature the HIA that network has hierarchy in access, wherein decoding feasibility determined by each user’s priority. Under model, formulate sum secrecy rate maximization problem with regard precoding vectors. This challenging since multiple non-smooth functions are involved into fulfill conditions and also non-convex. To address challenges, approximate minimum function using LogSumExp technique, thereafter obtain first-order optimality condition. One key observation derived condition cast functional eigenvalue problem, where equivalent approximated objective formulated problem. Accordingly, show finding principal eigenvector local optimal solution. end, develop novel method called power iteration for (GPI-HIA). Simulations demonstrate GPI-HIA significantly outperforms other baseline methods terms rate.
